Forget the fuss and sticky mess! We’re recreating the legendary "Rolls Royce" PB-Chocolate Chip Cookies from Snoop Dogg’s From Crook to Cook cookbook. These cookies are famous for their tender, melting texture—and the secret to making them perfect (and cleanup a breeze) is baking them on parchment paper. No sticking, no scrubbing, just pure cookie perfection.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups (210g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks (220g) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup (130g) creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup (100g) packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 cups (360g) semisweet chocolate morsels
Instructions
Prep Your Pan (The Parchment Advantage): Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Crucially, line two large baking sheets with parchment paper. This prevents the cookies (especially with the added fat from the peanut butter) from sticking and ensures they slide right off after cooling.
Cream the Fats and Sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, creamy peanut butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in Wet Ingredients: Beat in the large egg and pure vanilla extract until just combined, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
Finish the Dough: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix. Stir in the semisweet chocolate morsels.
Scoop and Bake Immediately: Scoop the dough using a 2-tablespoon cookie scoop (or roll into golf ball-sized rounds) and place them on the prepared parchment-lined baking sheets. Since this dough is soft and requires no chilling, it can go straight into the oven!
Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown but the centers are still soft.
Cool (The Easiest Way): Carefully slide the parchment paper, with the cookies still on it, onto a cooling rack. This simple step protects the tender cookies from breaking and allows them to finish cooling perfectly before serving. Enjoy that creamy, crisp, "Rolls Royce" texture!
